Arthritis Homemade Cures

Arthritis is a "catch-all" term for localized pain, swelling and stiffness in the joints. No matter the type of arthritis you have – it is always painful and in severe cases can become debilitating! There is no "cure" for any type of arthritis, but over the centuries people have found numerous remedies that seem to help, and in some cases "cure" it!

If you suffer from arthritis, I would first recommend eliminating foods that may be causing it! "Nightshade" foods such as tomatoes, white potatoes, green peppers and eggplant sometimes contribute to the pain of arthritis. If you eliminate these and find you pain decreases, it is most likely you have an allergy to one (or all) of them. Being tested by an allergist will also reveal any other "hidden" food allergies you may have

Other natural remedies include eating cherries, or drinking cherry juice! It does not matter the kind of cheery, or whether it’s fresh or frozen – even in a concentrated form it seems to be useful! This seems to be due to the fact cherries prevent crystallization of uric acid and reduces the uric acid in the blood stream. Many have reported that the bumps on their knuckles disappear once they have begun taking cherries as a treatment. Other Suggestions include: o

Soaking Golden Raisins in gin. Soak for a week, and take 6 before bed each night.
o Alfalfa or Parsley Tea
o Vitamin B3 (Niacinamide) slows the progression of the disease
o Eating String Beans, or drinking a glass of "Bean Juice"
o Adding Cod Liver Oil in a glass of milk (1 TBSP to 6 OZ of milk)
o Take a bath with Rose Petals from 4 or 5 withered roses
o Rubbing a clove of Garlic on the pain will help relive the soreness
o Soaking in an Epsom Salt bath
o Taking a Glucosamine & Chondroitin supplement helps promote good joint health
o Drink a glass of white grape juice each morning.
o Adding pineapple, ginger, tumeric and cayenne pepper to your meals can help the pain and inflammation associated with arthritis

If none of these treatments seem to help you, please seek professional advice. You may have an advanced or severe case of arthritis. A doctor will be able to determine the most effective treatment plan if these herbal remedies do not seem to help you feel better!
