Athlete’s Foot Natural Homemade Cures

Athlete’s foot is a parasitic infection in the skin of the foot, and occasionally groin area. It is commonly associated with Locker rooms, showers, pools and other places where the warm dampness is a breeding ground for the bacteria. Most people get athlete’s foot at least once in their life, some have recurring cases. Either way, there are treatments you can do at home, that cure it as effectively as over the counter remedies!.

Create a solution of one part vinegar and four parts warm water. Soak the feet for half an hour twice daily. Make sure you dry your feet and toes thoroughly after the soak!

Apply rubbing alcohol to the affected area and wait for it to dry completely. Then sprinkle Talcum powder over them

Listerine can be used directly on the infection and does not need ot be rinsed off – just make sure it dries completely before you put on socks!
Direct sunlight kills the bacteria that cause athlete’s foot! Spend some time in the sun each day and it will help keep it away and even cure mild cases of it!

Applying tee tree oil will often cure the infection

Cover you feet with a thin layer of oregano oil. It smells bad but in 3 or 4 days it will be all gone!
Crush a couple of cloves of garlic and spread over the infected area. Leave it on the foot for thirty minutes, then wash off with cool water. Do this every day for a week and it should clear up!
