Bruises Natural Homemade Cures

Everyone gets bruises – whether form running into something, a fall, or plain clumsiness, it is unusual for someone never to have gotten a bruise. Here are some proven remedies to help your bruise heal a little bit quicker!

You can wrap and elastic bandage around the bruise (if its on an arm or a leg). The pressure may help prevent the blood vessels from leaking as much blood as they might otherwise do. Use an ice pack and rotate it off an on every 30 minutes for 3 hours. This also helps constricting the blood vessels and prevents them from leaking blood and worsening the bruise.

After 24 hours, switch from cold to heat. At that point, a warm washcloth or heating pad will help blood circulate through the area and start the healing process quicken. Vitamin K helps heal bruises also! You can find vitamin K crèmes at your local drugstore. Your body needs the vitamin K to help break down blood and to re absorb it. You will want to apply the crème two times a day until the bruise is healed.
