Women are often accused of having cold feet. Especially at night! But cold feet really can affect anyone! Aside from keeping socks on, what can you do?
Cold feet might indicate a circulation problem. Try elevating your feet above your head for twenty minutes a day, twice a day. At the same time rotate your ankles. This may help with any circulation problems you may have!
Another idea? Soak your feet in hot water with Epsom salt. Scrub your feet good while in the water. This will also help improve the circulation!
Add some spice to your life! I’ve heard adding cayenne pepper to your socks will help keep those toes warm. Now, your feet will turn red, and the socks will probably never look the same, but if it helps, it helps! .
Many people have had success with the supplement Gingko Biloba. You may have to experiment with different dosages, but I know of at least one person who had nearly debilitating cold hands and feet and gingko nearly cured her!
Another tip – wear a hat and mitten (not gloves) when you go outside when its cold. Most of your body heat is lost through your head, followed by your hands! So keeping these areas nice and warm may help the little appendages at the other end of your body!
