Working on the computer all day, I am all too familiar with tired eyes! They get achy, sore and uncomfortable, and all you want to do is close them and lie in a dark room! But, as we all know, that is not always possible! Here are some tips for those tired eyes!
Splash cold water on your eyes. It will help revitalize them and get the blood flowing around them!
Add a few drops of lavender oil in 2 cups of water. Dip cotton balls in the mixture and let them sit on your eyes for twenty minutes! Cucumber comes to the rescue again! Slice of this vegetable and let the slices sit on top of your eyes for thirty minutes!
Soak cotton balls in warm tea (any kind is ok) then set the cotton balls on your eyes and rest for a bit! When the balls dry up, repeat the process! Chamomile tea is one of my favorites for this, since chamomile is so useful with all kinds of infections and cleaning! Place a small amount of boric acid in 2 cups of boiling water. Let it cool and use the solution with eyecups to wash the eyes for quick relief and also to clean the eyes.
