Treating Body Odor with Natural Homemade Remedies

Suffering from body odor can at the very minimum be embarrassing! If commercial deodorants are not working for you, or if you simply prefer alternative methods, there are a lot of options!

Some odor problems are caused by a lack of zinc in the body. Increase your diet to include more zinc by eating oysters, beef, crab and wheat germ, or take a daily supplement vitamin!

Bathing in Baking Soda will often help reduce the odor also. In addition to that, you can mix the baking soda with talcum powder and apply directly to your underarms. The baking soda helps kill the bacteria and absorbs moisture!

You can ask your pharmacist to recommend a good surgical "scrub" soap. Just as it is effective for killing bacteria on hands for doctors, it will also work to kill the bacteria under your arms.

Fish, cumin and curry can make body odor stand out even more. If you consume a lot of these items, consider cutting back and you may have your solution! .

One old remedy is rubbing lemons under your arms directly before you get dressed. A variation of this is to mix lemon juice and baking powder together in a thin paste, and apply it to your underarms.
It is also said that apple cider vinegar applied to your underarms will cure any "odor" issues!
Oftentimes, just scrubbing your underarms with a good old-fashioned antibacterial soap will help! All of these remedies will help you feel better about "raising your hand"!
