Treating Constipation with Natural Homemade Remedies

It happens to all of us at some point in time. We just can’t…go!

A common misconception is that everyone should have a bowel movement at lest once a day. While that is regular for many people, others go three times a day, or three times a week! Since everyone’s body is different, and has different needs, not everyone needs to go everyday!

If you are constipated however, there are a lot of things (mainly foods to eat) that will ease the situation!

Bael Fruit is a natural laxative. If you use it for a couple of months straight, it equals a high quality colon cleaner! Take it in its natural form after dinner, and things will be running smooth in no time!
Pears, whether as a fruit or as a juice will help relive the discomfort also. Some people opt for a pear "diet" for a few days, but in most cases, simply having one or a glass of juice will suffice. .

When you eat a guava with its seeds, it acts as roughage that helps the body rid itself of waste. A couple of these a day, for a few days will help clear you!

Grapes and water soaked raisins also provide the fiber your body needs to help maintain a regular schedule. The sugar and cellulose in grapes act as a laxative. If you choose to use raisins, soak them for 2 days (they will swell up to the size of a raisin). Eat them in the morning along with the water they soaked in. Many other fiber rich foods will aid in helping with constipation. Oranges, papayas, figs, and raw spinach are all terrific foods to eat when you are constipated!
